With over 40 years of hospitality experience within lifestyle brands, Bob brings a passion for hospitality with expertise within the sales and marketing sector. He learned early in his career to always keep the heart of an Innkeeper as the guiding “north star” while creating thoughtful guest experiences, building strong internal culture, and developing performance driven tactics to maximize financial results.

Deep connections within the community and an understanding of creating programming around the resorts’ locale has led to a legacy of very immersive guest journeys at every hotel and resort project. Bob also excels in talent assessment, recruitment, training, then guiding empowered teams towards aligned performance goals.

Accomplishments and career highlights include redevelopment and new resort launches of La Costa Resort and Alila Marea Beach Resort; special event concept refinement of Sunset Sessions, Opening Day After Party, Marea Sessions, and Live at the Lake; and led teams to performance awards including Resort of the Year, Sales & Marketing Team of the Year, and Integrated Marketing Campaign of the Year.

Bob has also served on the boards of Del Mar Tourism Business Improvement District and San Diego Sport Innovators.  He has been married to his wife, for over 30 years, who are both proud parents of two adult children.  In his spare time, he enjoys cycling, surfing, snowboarding, and traveling.
